Gary Fickes has been serving the citizens of NETC for over 25 years. He has dedicated most of his adult life to giving back to the community where he lives and works. He has served as your County Commissioner for the past two years (2007, 2008). He has also served as a Mayor, Planning and Zoning Chairman, member of local, state and national transportation organizations, hospital boards and bank boards. In addition to roles as a public servant, he has also been actively involved in Service Organizations including Rotary International (Paul Harris Fellow), Lions Club, Chambers of Commerce and Northeast Leadership Forum. Gary currently serves on the Governor’s Economic Development Stakeholder’s Committee, the Bobby Bragan Foundation and Harris Methodist Hospital Foundation.

Oversee County operations in Precinct 3, NETC which encompasses 18 cities and the unincorporated areas of the Precinct. Maintain a full service Maintenance facility with a staff of 35 employees, manage our office staff which includes three employees at two offices (Hurst, Southlake).
